Message for the Hostel :

First of all my Heartfelt Warm Greetings to all my Seniors and Juniors of the Hostel. In brief Kenfield Hostel is a HOME away from HOME and I would love to say that some of the best days of my life are always associated with Kenfield. And here I would like to thank Mr. Utpal Joshi & Team for such a GREAT work to bring all the PAST & PRESENT together for a better FAMILY of Kenfield Hostel. Again my love, respect for our Warden, Sir. D.C. Pandey who has always stayed as a Father/Guardian figure for all the students of the Hostel. And as this coming up magazine is going to be a tribute to our Warden,  Sir. D.C. Pandey who is serving his last tenure as a Warden for the Hostel, my prayers for his well being, long life with full of Good Health, Vigor, Happiness and Joy along with his family. Finally I would like to thank Kenfield for giving me such a wonderful Experience in Life.

Dear all my junior and senior sir , Thank you very much for creating a very nice platform...

I am Yogesh Kumar Singh, Working as a Senior Research Scientist at National Institute Of solar Energy under Ministry of New and Renewable Energy Gurugram Haryana ....
I was in Kenfield in very short time around 1 year, because then I got selected for Engineering course..
My personal experience for Kenfield Hostel it gives me a great confidence and knowledge about the life my special thanks to My warden sir and my all colleagues.
It was a great experience from my first Hostel life, our enjoyment, our election time and our sports meet all are the awesome..
What ever I am and what I will achieve all credit to goes to my lovely Kenfield Hostel

Message for the Hostel :

It is a matter of pride and satisfaction that the young leaders of Kenfield Hostel has taken the initiative to publish this Alumni Magazine under the wisdom of my beloved Gurujee Prof. D.C. Pandey and also extremely happy to know that this Magazine is being made as the tribute  to our Gurujee’s last term service.

Kenfield was my second home during my six year tenure in Kumaun University so that I rarely went to my home town during my course. It was because of healthy guidance and hospitality of Gurujee and his beloved family members. Prof. D.C. Pandey was not only our Warden but also my Ph.D. guide in Geography. Because of him I was the 1^st Manipuri Ph.D. holder in Kumaun University DSB campus- Nainital. I learned a lot from this hostel through Gurujee that makes me what/who I am in today’s scenario. Prof. Pandey is a very dynamic and resourceful person, to me he was my guide/parents/a visionary and a man of strict discipline. 

Dear young friends; my Gurujee frequently told me following words: “Ask yourself such as: Where am I? Who am I? and What to do? After getting the answer of these three questions, automatically you will get the right path where leads up to yours life goal. It was the most important lesson what I learned from him.  I hope, dear friends all of you are perform this memorable event with a feeling love so there is instant success.

Finally, I convey my best wishes to all the Kenfield hostellers for the successful of this historic publication. Please go ahead without any hesitation to higher and higher life’s goal United We Rise.
